Gryphon Place is excited to announce the release of our new strategic plan, which will guide our organization's efforts over the next five years. The plan outlines our vision, mission, and values, and sets goals for our programs and services. We're confident this plan will help us better serve our community, and we're eager to continue to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
Overview of the Process
Work on this strategic plan began in January of 2023, when we enlisted the expertise of Cross Movement Social Justice Consulting. During our information gathering phase multiple Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Audits were conducted. The first was a written survey open to the public and stakeholders, and there were 178 respondents. After the survey, Cross Movement Social Justice Consulting held 4 different listening sessions with 51 different constituents. Additionally, there were 10 Strategic Justice Committee planning sessions, a five-year revenue trend examination, and a Profitability and Impact Analysis. Through this process we identified strengths, opportunities, aspirations, roadblocks, and forged a path to make results.
Updated Mission and Vision Statements, and Core Principles and Values
As a result of the new strategic plan, we have updated our Mission and Vision statements, and our Core Principles and Values:
Mission Statement: To make connections to resources, nurture healing and resiliency, and promote restorative justice for people in conflict and crisis.
Vision Statement: An empowered and thriving community where everyone has the resources and support they need.
Three Goals – One Team
For the next five years Gryphon Place will be focusing on the following three goals:
Goal 1: Internal Focus - Foster an Inclusive and Antiracist Culture and Operations
Goal 2: Programming - Enhance Programming for Improved Client Satisfaction and Inclusivity
Goal 3: Community - Improve Community Relations and Promote Equity
