We collect information directly through this website via contact forms and emails including your contact information, name, and donation information. Other information may be collected from third party affiliates, such as through a donation, event registration, or volunteer registration.
We may also use third-party sources to collect additional information about donors, including birth date, billing address, financial information, education information, employment information, age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and any other information that you provide to us while making a donation or is necessary to complete the donation. We may also verify your personal information with third parties in the course of processing a gift, event registration, or other related donor activity.
We also may collect certain information automatically from your use of the website, such as IP addresses, de-identified web browser information, ISP data, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, location, and click data, and a unique identifier associated with your browser or device.
How is Information Collected?
Information is collected directly from you when you provide it to us through our website when you submit it to us. Our third-party fundraising platform services, Paypal and Donor Perfect, collect information when you donate. Our third-party volunteer platform, Get Connected by Galaxy Digital, collects information when you register as an agency or volunteer. Our third-party event platforms, Eventbrite and Runsignup, collect information when you register for events.
Volunteers and job applicants may also submit personally identifiable information when applying on our third-party platform, Paylocity. For volunteers and employee applicants, we may collect information including name, address, email address, phone number, birthdate, URLs, education information, employment information, social media account handles, and other information those individuals provide to us as part of their applications. Employee and volunteer applicants may also be prompted to enter information such as confirmation of ability to work in the U.S., confirmation of their requirement for a visa, race, age, gender identity, employment information, education information, disability status, medical information, financial information, veteran status, familial status, sexual orientation, and information related to personal references.
