Provides information and referral services and crisis intervention services by phone and electronically to the public and community professionals 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. This position will require Saturday daytime (8am-4pm) with other hours TBD.

The Community Intervention Specialist provides culturally aware support and guidance to individuals involved in the Justice Lifted Diversion program. They are responsible for conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and facilitating access to resources and services aimed at preventing recidivism and promoting positive behavioral change. The specialist works closely with youth and their family, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of diversion strategies and support systems. This role also includes facilitating restorative justice and conflict transformation processes to resolve disputes and promote healing within the community. The position requires a compassionate, proactive, and strategic approach to problem-solving and community engagement.
