suicide prevention training

Suicide affects us all. Whether you're aware or not, we all know someone that has thoughts of suicide or is struggling. So how can you be the difference in getting someone the help they need? Our suicide prevention trainings teach you how to recognize when someone is in crisis and connect them to help.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

2 days

ASIST features powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations. At a LivingWorks ASIST workshop, you’ll learn how to:

  • Prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive.

LivingWorks ASIST trainees make their communities safer from suicide by providing life-saving interventions. They’re a vital resource that trainees in connector programs—such as LivingWorks safeTALK—can call to help others.
