Annual Report: Fiscal Year 2024–2025

The year 2025 proved difficult for many nonprofits. Across our region, funding for vital programs has been cut, reduced, or eliminated altogether. Yet Gryphon Place persevered and grew stronger. Our strength does not come from being untouched by these challenges, but from being deeply rooted in this community.
This year also marks an important transition in how we share our impact. Moving forward, Gryphon Place will report by fiscal year (October 1–September 30) rather than calendar year, allowing our reporting to more accurately reflect our operations, funding cycles, and community impact.
We are incredibly grateful to our donors, partners, volunteers, advocates, and staff whose support makes this work possible. Together, we reached significant milestones that enhanced our ability to serve the community and fulfill our mission of providing vital resources and support to those in need. In recognition of 2-1-1 Day, we also want to thank our outstanding 2-1-1 Community Resource Advisors for everything they do to assist our community. Each day, they help people find resources for food, shelter, childcare and after-school programs, addiction treatment, utility assistance, eviction diversion, veteran services, legal services, mental health support, and so much more.
Last year, our team answered over 146,000 2-1-1 calls and more than 1,600 texts, with an additional 91,000 calls supported through our Toledo 2-1-1 team. It takes a special kind of person to do this work, and we are proud to have a compassionate, dedicated team who assess each caller’s needs and provide the support everyone deserves.
