• We launched the Justice Lifted Arrest Diversion Program, providing young people with supportive alternatives to criminal justice system involvement and connecting families to community-based resources.

• We've returned to downtown Kalamazoo, at 505 S. Park St. with our C.O.R.R.E. Center, bringing essential services closer to those who need them.

• Our 8th Street office received a renovation, adding collaborative meeting and training spaces that we're excited to share with the community.

• We're preparing to launch our Community Information Exchange®, a groundbreaking initiative to simplify access to critical services and support.

Gryphon Place Stands with Survivors on International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.

We invite our community to join our Survivors of Suicide Loss (SOS) support group. This caring, confidential group meets twice monthly and provides a safe space for those who have lost loved ones to suicide. Gryphon Place Stands with Survivors on International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.

We invite our community to join our Survivors of Suicide Loss (SOS) support group. This caring, confidential group meets twice monthly and provides a safe space for those who have lost loved ones to suicide. New participants: Please contact Sarah Rickman at srickman@gryphon.org for a brief pre-screening conversation and meeting details.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the recognition given to me and @gryphonplace during this past weekend’s @ellas_michigan graduation. While I couldn’t attend in person, I’m thankful that Myrna was able to accept the award on our behalf.

The work ELLAS is doing to empower and uplift Latine leaders is truly transformative. It has been an incredible honor to be part of this journey. I’m so excited to see how the program continues to grow and positively impact our community.

When we bring people together in restorative circles, we witness how simple acts of listening, understanding, and showing kindness can help heal relationships and build stronger connections. Just like random acts of kindness, restorative practices give us tools to acknowledge harm, rebuild trust, and move forward together.

This World Kindness Day, consider how you might:
- Listen deeply to someone's story

When she's not making a difference in our community, you'll find her conquering mountain trails (including the Superstition Mountains!) or planning her next adventure - a Rim to Rim hike of the Grand Canyon. An avid outdoor enthusiast and former English teacher in Prague, Ashley brings unique perspectives and experiences to our team. And yes, she might just be the ultimate Taylor Swift fan in our office (though we haven't officially confirmed this through a carpool karaoke competition... yet! 😄)
