Gryphon Place Suicide Prevention Walk raises over 23 thousand dollars
The Gryphon Place Suicide Prevention Walk over the weekend raised more than 23 thousand dollars for the organization. Gryphon Place, which runs a suicide hotline and other programs to prevent suicide, says that more than 240 people took part in the Saturday event. It was held at Bronson Park, starting there and taking the walkers all over the downtown area. The event is held every year, not only to raise money, but to also spread awareness about suicide.
